Technical Assistance and Training Grant

 

The California Indian Manpower Consortium Inc. (CIMC) administers this contact funded through the U.S. Department of Labor. Several tasks are undertaken in this grant:
  • Logistical support for the National Indian and Native American Employment and Training Conference and payment of travel costs to the conference for selected Native American grantees;
  • Logistical support for the Native American Employment and Training Council;
  • Logistical support of Council work group meetings;
  • Logistical support for multi-regional TAT meetings;
  • Targeted technical assistance for Public Law 102-477 grantees;
  • Funding specialized research and studies;
  • Logistical support for the information technology work group; and
  • Funding to update the Native American Workforce Investment Act reporting system software (BearTracks).
