The California Indian Manpower
Consortium Inc. (CIMC) administers this contact funded
through the U.S. Department of Labor. Several tasks are
undertaken in this grant:
Logistical
support for the National Indian and Native American
Employment and Training Conference and payment of travel
costs to the conference for selected Native American
grantees;
Logistical support for the Native
American Employment and Training Council;
Logistical support of Council
work group meetings;
Logistical support for multi-regional
TAT meetings;
Targeted technical assistance
for Public Law 102-477 grantees;
Funding specialized research
and studies;
Logistical support for the information
technology work group; and
Funding to update the Native
American Workforce Investment Act reporting system
software (BearTracks).
